Las Vegas is fun. It is iconic. It is alive. It is a city with an energy like nowhere else; it is simply anything you want to be. There’s no doubt why couples around the world come here year after year for their destination weddings. The impressive neon lights that light up the Strip every evening is one of the reasons why it is a top choice for wedding locations. And there are many more reasons why it holds that distinction to be the wedding capital of the world. It is indeed one beautiful oasis in the Mojave desert.
To make it easy for you, wedding couples, to plan your dream wedding in Las Vegas, we have narrowed down some of the best places to get hitched in this city. Maybe you are asking yourself: “What are the best places to get married in Las Vegas”? Well, do not bat an eyelash, every location is picturesque.
The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign
The Las Vegas iconic sign is a famous landmark which is located at the Southern end of the Las Vegas strip. The excitement of the city is well-represented by this distinctive sign. A wedding officiant can perform a ceremony next to the sign, and this is perfect for couples eloping to Vegas.
Neon Musuem
If you want a truly Vegas wedding location with a twist, this vintage museum is for you. This Neon Boneyard in Downtown Las Vegas is one of the real gems of the city. It features signs from old casinos and other Las Vegas businesses. It is widely considered to be artistically and historically important to the culture of the city. Located on Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonanza, this museum is famous for weddings and special events especially for those looking for an unforgettable Las Vegas venue with a vintage flair. Liz, our bride went to Atomic Style Lounge to complete her vintage look for her wedding.
A Little White Chapel
This wedding chapel is one of the famous wedding venues in town. Many famous celebrities have chosen this chapel for their nuptials since 1951. Delight your guests with a little bit of nostalgia and choose from their five beautifully-decorated wedding venues. They even offer drive-thru for spontaneous couples as well. How cool is that?
Las Vegas strip
Spontaneity is the new way to marry, some say. If you have a less-is-more approach to wedding planning, you can opt for any random favorite location at the strip to hold your wedding. This gazebo next to Caesars Palace is a favorite by a lot of wedding couples coming from abroad. Here, you have the Eiffel tower from Paris hotel as your backdrop and if you time your ceremony during sunset, right before the Strip comes to life, we assure you a simple, romantic ceremony.
Bellagio hotel / fountain
Another favorite location for a low-key romantic Las Vegas wedding is the Bellagio hotel. They do in-suite weddings and their garden is a great photo shoot location. The spectacular combination of water, light and movement provides a majestic backdrop for small, intimate ceremonies in this city.
Red Rock Canyon
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located 20 miles off the Las Vegas strip. Enjoy sandstone scenery and desert vegetation in this state park. This is a great escape to casinos and the hustle and bustle and nightlife the Las Vegas strip is known for. Perfect for adventurous couples, Red Rock Canyon is a perfect location for wedding and elopement photo sessions.
The Smith Center
The Smith Center is famous in showcasing various shows in performing arts from around the world. With its distinct architecture, it can evoke a nostalgia for modern and sleek lifestyle. It is chic modernism at its finest. Full of elegance, the Smith Center is an excellent backdrop for the contemporary bride and groom.
Lake Las Vegas
Lake Las Vegas is classic mediterranean architecture done oh so right. This gorgeous wedding we shot there last year planned by Scheme Events is absolutely breathtaking. This place is a masterpiece of its own and is a beautiful venue for romantic wedings.

The Cosmopolitan
This modern hotel boasts a hint of “cool modernism” feel and “posh” vibe. It is famous for this gorgeous crystal chandelier which is a great masterpiece and is a lovely backdrop for wedding photos. It is eye-catching, and is meant to evoke romance.
The Wynn
This is another hotel in Las Vegas with a new era of luxury feel. The ambiance here is modern and unforgettable. It is definitely one of the most underrated places in Las Vegas.
Venetian hotel
The Venetian hotel holds wedding ceremonies in-suite and on board their gondolas and it is one of our favorite places to photograph. It is both classy and romantic and is great for both big and small ceremonies.
Spring Mountain Ranch Park
We are in love with this stunning park, which we consider a hidden gem in the Mojave desert, located Northwest of Blue Diamond, Nevada. This state park is located within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. It is absolutely perfect for big and small rustic backyard weddings. The mountain-side view and the meadows will easily complement any country-style themed wedding. Let nature be your stage in this beautiful ranch park.
