Same sex marriage at the Sure Thing Chapel Las Vegas
Spencer and Miguel reached out last September, sharing their vision for a retro, fun Vegas wedding with a touch of classic charm. After their inquiry, we set up a phone call, and from the moment we started chatting, we clicked. They were easygoing, full of energy, and had such a clear idea of what they wanted.
We bounced around a few location ideas for their photos, and their top priorities were the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign and the lively Fremont Street area. Both spots are perfect for capturing that vibrant Vegas vibe, and I couldn’t wait to bring their vision to life.
When they told me they’d decided to elope at the Sure Thing Chapel, I was so excited. It’s such a fun venue, and it fits their style perfectly. They went with the Drive-Thru package and included a classic car, which added this extra cool and unique element to their day.
Sure Thing Chapel packages
The Sure Thing Chapel is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a popular option for couples seeking an intimate, stress-free wedding. It’s also one of the few Vegas chapels that allows you to bring your own photographer and features Lady Elvis, Hellvis, and a classic Studebaker Lark car. Some of the packages that they offer are:
You can customize any of the packages by adding a classic car, a performer, or flowers. Each package includes marriage license filing and vintage photobooth strips. Last autumn, “Sure Thing Too” opened, offering a similar experience with a fresh blue-themed atmosphere.

After the ceremony, we took a few family photos, as well as some shots with the latest addition to the classic car collection—the Rambler American convertible. The bold red color really stands out and photographs beautifully. We popped some champagne, then made our way towards the “El Cortez” hotel for a drink before heading over to the famous Vegas sign for more photos.
