Downtown Las Vegas Elopement – One Hour  Photo Session

“One hour photo session, that’s all we are looking for before our ceremony,” Alysha said in her email. And boy, she was right. We met at the Container Park parking lot, and it immediately felt like we’d known each other for years. Dave was wearing a pink suit that matched so well with the Downtown Las Vegas vibes—modern and chic, but not trying too hard. We popped champagne by the “Life is Beautiful festivalcontainers to get the party going. We took some fun photos with a Tesla Cybertruck that was parked next to us, and with my little Miata that I like to call Topless. One of Alysha’s must-have shots was by the sidewalk across from the El Cortez hotel with the Vegas sign in the background.

We stopped by Binion’s Hotel. I wanted to get a shot that was a little different from what I often see online, so I went for the old trick of long exposure. We waited for the traffic to start moving, and with cars creating vibrant streaks against the backdrop of vintage Vegas, we captured one of my favorite photos from this shoot. The blend of the old-school neon signs and the dynamic energy of the moving lights perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Fremont Street.

On the way back, we stopped by a convenience store and picked up beers for all three of us. As we walked through the streets, sipping our beers, we chatted about life, Vegas, and the UK. Alysha and Dave shared their story about what made them decide to elope to a different continent. They talked about their love for adventure, the allure of doing something spontaneous, and their desire for an intimate ceremony away from the traditional expectations back home.

“I could not rate Ivan more highly. Even before we had our shoot, he put in a call to get to know us. Suggesting different spots in Vegas to shoot at and really helped us prep. As soon as we met, we knew we made the right decision – Ivan is kind, funny and made what I thought would have been slightly awkward, such a fun experience. He stayed longer then planned – turned the images around very quickly and I really couldn’t have been happier. As someone who struggles to take a nice photo, he made us feel relaxed. Ivan thank you for making our wedding day so special!”
