Sure Thing Chapel Las Vegas elopement photographer
The “Sure Thing Wedding Chapel” and the newly opened “Sure Thing Too” are a breath of fresh air here in Las Vegas. Most of the chapels along the Las Vegas Boulevard offer a more traditional wedding experience, but The Sure Thing will surprise you with an interactive show, Lady Elvis, Hellvis, or The Wine Hearse. Most of their packages are tailored for that Sin City experience you’ve been looking for.
Asyia and Ben traveled across the continent from New York to celebrate wedding ceremony with their family and friends. Asyia walked down the aisle with her mom and after the ring exchange they had a first dance as a married couple.
One of the hidden gems of the Sure Thing Chapel is its restroom, tucked away behind a curtain. Upon entering, you’re greeted by a portrait of Elvis Presley, a cupid, and an old analog phone. The mirror provides the perfect opportunity to capture a reflection photo of the couple, adding a touch of vintage charm to the moment.
After their first dance, Asyia and Ben posed for a photo in the vintage photobooth. I timed my shots to capture the exact moments the booth’s vintage camera was clicking.
35mm film look
The Sure Thing Chapel, with its striking red curtains, a vintage Pioneer amplifier from the 70s, and an old piano, creates an atmosphere that feels like a relic from a bygone era. The nostalgia in the air evokes memories of a time long past, with the vintage charm and analog warmth of the space adding to the timeless feel. I try to complement this atmosphere either with a reel 35mm film or with a preset that adds film grain and the colors of the past.
Studebaker Lark a cool vintage car addon to your Sure Thing elopement package
After the ceremony, we were greeted by the owner of a vintage Studebaker Lark. He shared a bit about the car’s history and the factory that produced this iconic piece of American motoring. With its red upholstery, the Lark was a real showstopper and a fantastic addition to our group photos and shots of the couple. As the sun set, we were treated to some of the best light of the day.
We wrapped up our photo session at the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign and captured some epic shots at the Bellagio hotel, overlooking the fountain and the Eiffel Tower. Ayisia, Ben, and I spent three unforgettable hours together.
Ayisia and Ben’s review
“Ivan was the absolute best! We contacted him around a week before our wedding and we delivered beyond our expectations!! Very reasonably priced, amazing service, and he knows where the spots are to get the best photos. The delivery time of the edited photos was immaculate and I’d be sure to recommend him to anyone being photographed in Vegas in the future. Thanks so much Ivan for the fantastic experience!“
