For the first part of this year, my family escaped to the Philippines, my home, to visit my family and close friends. We have so much to tell and photos to show but I am still enjoying every memory that I have of that wonderful 2 months, that I am taking my time so you can also enjoy the journey. From the little mundane things that we enjoyed, the city, nature, trip to the beaches, you will see bits and pieces of our trips. We didn’t venture too far from home, no ambitious adventures, we stayed mostly around my city to spend quality time with the most important people in our lives, and we basically tried to live like a normal family. We realized that the secret to a wonderful family vacation is really being with the people who matter to us the most. And I know how lucky I am with the many real friends that I have.
Here’s a preview to a beach trip to Calatagan, Batangas (a 3 hour-drive from Manila) that I made with my two other girl friends and their families. It’s a paradise that is Maldives-inspired but we especially love the raw design of the garden and the sweet inspiring quotes written in every corner of this place.
